Those poor people, who have intelligent children, but cannot afford to get them into college, suffer from the disadvantage that their children cannot get into decent workplaces. College education basically points toward the middle class position in society, and hence, necessitating college education for employment would mean that people from middle class and upward are only eligible for good opportunities in employment. The gap may not have increased in middle and upper class citizens, but has definitely increased in lower and other classes because they will not be preferred in employment. Educational institutes may not have a role, but the government definitely has a role in making education available and affordable for all people of society, so that those of low socio-economic status may also be able to avail education an d employment opportunities just the same as other
